Visual Explorations was created by Jerrod and his wife, Jessie in 2013, when they led a group to Tuscany, Italy. What began as an opportunity to draw and paint with Jerrod, changed into a much broader cultural experience for anyone looking to engage with a new environment through various mindful creative means. Through a slow travel approach, these trips allow you to have a deeper connection to location by minimizing travel time within the destination country.

While Jerrod and Jessie continue to offer an annual exploration of Tuscany and a new adventure in Japan, a partnership with Star Mountain Travel has opened up new possibilities for different travel experiences with an art history focus. Through this partnership he has led groups to Greece, Spain, Scandinavia, and France. 2026 will include a study of John Constable in England.
