Jerrod has been helping other artists through the intricacies of drawing and painting since 2009. Using traditional academic practices, he focuses on fundamental observation-based exercises to build competency in application. His one-on-one instruction within a class setting allows him to work with professionals and novice together.
Jerrod has taught drawing at Millsaps College, painting at Belhaven University, and figure drawing at the Mississippi Museum of Art. Each summer he leads Visual Explorations to Europe where he guides artists through plein air painting and drawing.
